What does the batik pattern depict? An Orchard Road landmark motif by our illustrator, adapted into hand-made silk-screen batik on the front panel.
What dye and fabric is used? The batik panel is naturally dyed with Indigofera (natural indigo) on 100% cotton.
What are the side and back panels made of? Pre-consumer dead-stock denim and cotton eyelet remnants — new, unused fabric that would otherwise go unsold.
What's the fit and closure? A sleeveless shirt vest with a button front, stand collar, and adjustable side drawstrings for a cinched fit.
Who makes it? Nyana Nyana Eco Collective, a Singapore-based social enterprise working with artisan batik, natural dye, and dead-stock textiles.
